Steps shown in the developer guide vs my permisions

Hi Janet,

Now refering to the developer guide that you mentioned I will do some citations and copy the link from where I took those citations, because as per my understanding I really need access to Access to Azure OpenAI Service, nothing indicate the oposite to me. I am now very concern base on the guidelines in that developer guide.

1. Here I undertand that I need to use Azure AI Studio to access to below services and they are part of the tools that I need to develop my idea. They even show an image of that.
"Azure AI Studio
Azure AI Studio is a web portal that brings together multiple Azure AI-related services into a single, unified development environment.

Specifically, Azure AI Studio combines:

The model catalog and prompt flow development capabilities of Azure Machine Learning service.

The generative AI model deployment, testing, and custom data integration capabilities of Azure OpenAI service.

Integration with Azure AI Services for speech, vision, language, document intelligence, and content safety."
https://github.com/AzureCosmosDB/Azure-OpenAI-Python-Developer-Guide/tree/main/03_Overview_Azure_OpenAI

2. Again I can not have access to this without Access to Azure OpenAI Service
"Azure AI Services
While this guide focuses on building intelligent apps using Azure OpenAI combined with vCore-based Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB, the Azure AI Platform consists of many additional AI services. Each AI service is built to fit a specific AI and/or Machine Learning (ML) need."
https://github.com/AzureCosmosDB/Azure-OpenAI-Python-Developer-Guide/tree/main/03_Overview_Azure_OpenAI

3. In this other like they make reference to the same:
"Quotas and limits - The Azure OpenAI service does have quotas and limits on using the service. This may affect the performance and pricing of the AI solution. Additionally, some of quotas and limits may vary depending on the Azure Region that is used to host the Azure OpenAI service. The potential impact of these on the pricing and performance of the solution will want to be considered in the design phase of the solution."
https://github.com/AzureCosmosDB/Azure-OpenAI-Python-Developer-Guide/tree/main/05_Explore_OpenAI_models

4. I can not do this lab and I can not do previous lab due to the restriction
"the focus of this guide and the labs is limited to vCore-based Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB, Vector Search, Azure OpenAI, and the Python programming language. With this focus, the labs include an Azure Bicep template that will deploy the following Azure resources the solution will be deployed to" and "Note: You will need an Azure Subscription and have the necessary permissions to provision the Azure resources."
https://github.com/AzureCosmosDB/Azure-OpenAI-Python-Developer-Guide/tree/main/06_Provision_Azure_Resources

5 . The same as mentioned before
"The backend API integrates vCore-based Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB with Azure OpenAI. When the Azure resource template for this lab was run to deploy the necessary Azure resources"
"Request a quota increase - It may be possible to get Microsoft to increase the token quota to a higher limit, but it's not guaranteed to be approved. This request can be made at https://aka.ms/oai/quotaincrease"
https://github.com/AzureCosmosDB/Azure-OpenAI-Python-Developer-Guide/tree/main/12_User_Interface

It looks like that I will be not able to participate in this hackthon because with my current permissions I can not follow their steps. :(

Hope to read your comments and advice.

Thanks

As you mentioned to you in the other post, you can just click through and skip those labs. The developer guide is not part of the labs.

After you click the green arrow to check in, go to Channels & Roles in the top left bar, then go to Browse channels, then you will have to follow all of the Microsoft channels to get access.
