How can we accomplish the goal of this hackthon (build your own copilot) with Access to Azure OpenAI Service restrictions?

Hi there!,

I am very confused, based on this info here, it is expected from us to deploy a model (refer to the text below), but how I am going to do that if I do not have an approved "Access to Azure OpenAI Service".

When I try to follow the instructions given in the guide I can not do that for same reason, this is the message that I recieve "Your subscription is not enabled to deploy Azure OpenAI Service. The service is currently in Limited Access Public Preview. Please click the banner to apply for access."

Please advise what I can do? I need more clarification on how to accomplish so goals with my current restrictions and limitation?

You can access the Azure OpenAI Studio through the Azure portal after creating a resource, or at https://oai.azure.com by logging in with your Azure OpenAI resource instance. During the sign-in workflow, select the appropriate directory, Azure subscription, and Azure OpenAI resource.

When you first open Azure OpenAI Studio, you'll see a call-to-action button at the top of the screen to deploy your first model. "

The hackthon is about building your own copilot but how can I do that if I do not have the needed permisions? I can access to this to experiment https://polite-ground-030dc3103.4.azurestaticapps.net/event/6424-f827 but I can not costumize with this :(.

Hi Eimis, if you're still in the learning modules, you can skip through all of it (just click through it). You'll need to develop the custom AI copilot using one of the devloper guides: Node.js version or Python version (listed on the hackathon site). From those guides, you'll be able to use the proxy site.
