Issues with azure portal and azure cosmos db for mongo db (vcore)

Me and my partner are running into issues using Microsoft Azure. For my account, I was able to get student credits but it sometimes kicks me out and gives me error that the account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft'. I was able to create a resource in Azure Cosmos DB for Mongo DB, but when I go to Quick Start it gives error: We are unable to connect to the temporary workspace. Please try again in a few minutes. If the error persists, file a support ticket. This error also occurs with my partner who is using a regular free subscription. We are not sure how to proceed and whether later in the project it will work to host the web app.

    Hi Jesse, we'd highly recommend filing a support ticket via the Azure portal! Please include screenshots of your error and what you're trying to accomplish.

    Hi Janet , I am also facing the same issue as mentioned by Jesse . I was unable to find a solution and has asked in the community as the support ticket creation link you provided above ultimately doesn't allow creating a ticket without a paid support plan instead recommends to ask in community.

    I found out I'm able to connect to the database through the connection string even though the quick start doesn't work. As for submitting a ticket, you are able to submit a ticket relating to your account on the free version, but I haven't gotten anywhere yet with that ticket, maybe because its considered a technical issue which is not supported in the free version.
