first 500 Eligible Individuals who completed Phase 1

I have a question regarding the eligibility criteria for the first 500 individuals who complete Phase 1 of the hackathon.
Let's say I complete Phase 1 today, but it takes me some time to finish Phase 2, and I complete it on the last date of the hackathon. In this scenario, how do you determine if I am still part of the first 500 individuals who completed Phase 1?
In other words, is the eligibility based solely on the completion of Phase 1, regardless of when Phase 2 is completed, or does the completion of Phase 2 also factor into the determination of the first 500 eligible individuals?
I would appreciate if you could clarify the criteria used to track and identify the first 500 individuals who are eligible for the special recognition or rewards.

    The rules indicate that you must "Complete the two-part Azure Cosmos DB developer journey" and "Follow the provided step-by-step developer guide to build a custom AI copilot." -- we have a way to verify completion with the Microsoft team and who completed first. Although, you'll need to indicate that you've completed Phase 1 through a submission on Devpost -- we suggest submitting a submission right away with this indication once you've completed Phase 1.
    If you're participating in Phase 2, we recommend submitting a separate submission only for Phase 2. In the submissions form, we have a question that asks which Phase you're submitting to. If it's for Phase 2, select "Phase 1 & Phase 2" because you would've had to completed Phase 1 to compete for Phase 2.

    Hi Janet ,

    As per above comment , I tried only submitting as a individual first for Phase 1 , but it asks me to fill Project overview , Project details & Additional Info ( remaining fields ) , I added snapshots of learning and developer guide project . Can you please let me know how can i submit for Phase 1 only and then submit for Phase 2

    Hi Shreyas, you do not need to fill out the project overview etc for Phase 1. You can just put "Submitting for Phase 1" in the text to get through it.

    Hello ! The Phase2 Customized App should stay on until the end of the project ? It says to point to a working App , and i want to participate on Phase 2 with a custom solution based on what we learned. Thank you !

    Hello Janet ! I want to participate in the whole contest with an enhanced solution. The Rules suggest to provide a Working URL , along with the Video. So does this URL and the underlying App, should stay alive until the end of the Judging Phase ? Thank you !
